HMFD E-322 Wetdown 6/25/05

On Saturday, June 25th, 2005 the Halfmoon-Waterford Fire District and Halfmoon Fire Company held a special awards ceremony and truck wet down celebration.

Former Chief Earl McMahon was honored for his 30 years as a fire service instructor. The Halfmoon-Waterford Fire District dedicated their new training room to Firefighter McMahon. The new training room includes a complete classroom with special A/V equipment, teaching aids, and seating areas.

Also taking place on Saturday was the “wetdown” for the new ER-322. The new Engine/Rescue was placed on Middletown Road and showered with water by neighboring Fire Departments (West Crescent FD, Hillcrest FD, Waterford FD, Clifton Park FD, and Vischer Ferry FD).

Thank You to everyone who attended the dedication and wetdown ceremonies.
