Training House II 4/12/05

Halfmoon Firefighters continued to do fire training on a donated ranch house in the month of April. Firefighters practiced pump and hose operations, roof ventilation, SCBA skills (fire suppression and search & rescue), and new Firefighter training. Training of this type is an exceptional opportunity for firefighters to train under real life conditions. While we did not use live fire in these exercises, we did use our smoke machine to create a simulated hazardous atmosphere. We hope to acquire more of these type of structures for future training purposes.
