HMFD Structure Fire 7/6/05

On Wednesday, July 6th, 2005 Saratoga County 911 received multiple reports of a working structure fire on Hudson River Road (Rte 4 & 32). Halfmoon Firefighters were dispatched and arrived to find heavy fire coming from the basement of the house with fire extension to the first floor and smoke, heat, and water damage throughout the house. Firefighters made an aggressive attack and quickly knocked down the flames. Overhaul and investigation took several hours due to the high heat and humidity. Assisting on the scene were the West Crescent FD, Hillcrest FD, Waterford FD, Clifton Park FD, Bought FD (FAST), Clifton Park-Halfmoon Ambulance, and the Saratoga County Cause & Origin Team.
