Knox Woods Structure Fire

On Sunday, May 14th around 3:00pm, the Halfmoon Fire Department (HMFD) was dispatched to a dryer/structure fire in a town house in the Knox Woods development. Arriving fire units found the fire knocked down and began checking for fire extension. A small fire on the front porch of the residence ignited some furniture, towels, building siding, and the structure. The fire was extinguished quickly before more extensive damage could occur. No injuries were reported and fire units were back in service within an hour.
