Midway Trailer Park Structure Fires

On Monday, April 10th around 5:00pm, the Halfmoon Fire Department (HMFD) was dispatched to a structure fire in the Midway Trailer Park. Arriving units found a smoke condition inside and outside the trailer. The fire is currently under investigation by the Saratoga County Cause & Origin Team. HMFD was assisted at the scene by day time mutual aid (West Crescent FD, Clifton Park FD, Hillcrest FD) and Clifton-Park Halfmoon Ambulance.

Later that evening on Tuesday, April 11th around 1:30am, the Halfmoon Fire Department (HMFD) was dispatched to a fully involved trailer fire in the Midway Trailer Park. Arriving units found smoke and heavy fire coming from the mid section of a trailer (different trailer form earlier in the day). Firefighters worked quickly to knock down the heave fire area and spent several hours extinguishing hot spots and performing overhaul operations. The fire is currently under investigation by the Saratoga County Cause & Origin Team. HMFD was assisted at the scene by the West Crescent FD, Clifton Park FD, Waterford FD, Boght FD (FAST) and Clifton-Park Halfmoon Ambulance.
