On Monday, September 11th the Halfmoon Fire Department (HMFD) was dispatched to a reported fully involved structure fire. While responding to the fire, units were advised that the fire was a shed fire with several exposures. Arriving Firefighters found two sheds fully involved in fire with the fire spreading to a house and RV trailer. The shed fires were quickly extinguished and the exposures checked for fire extension. The sheds were completely destroyed while the house and RV trailer received smoke and heat damage. Firefighters remained on the scene for several hours for fire overhaul and investigation. On the scene were HMFD Car-320 Car-329, ETA-323, ER-322, ER-321, and MED-324. Also assisting on the scene were the Waterford FD, Waterford Rescue Squad, and the Saratoga County Cause and Origin team. Standing-by for HMFD was the West Crescent FD.
