Open House 2006
On Sunday October 8th the Halfmoon Fire District (HMFD) held its annual
Fire Prevention Week Open House. The Fire Station was opened to the public
with fire safety demonstrations, firehouse tours, fire truck rides, a
bouncy/slide, fire prevention magician, balloons and refreshments. The
2006 Fire Prevention Week theme was "Prevent Cooking Fires: Watch
What You Heat". The Firefighters and public had a great time. We
look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
