Spring Snow Storm brings Accidents

On Sunday April 15 an afternoon snow storm was a major cause for 4 motor vehicle accidents that Halfmoon Fire responded to. The first accident occurred at 3:11 PM in the middle of the Route 9 Crescent Bridge. 2 vehicles collided and both operators were trapped inside their vehicles and had to be extricated by Halfmoon Fire and Boght Fire Departments using the Jaws of Life.

2 More accidents occurred a short time later on Middletown Road while another accident was on Grooms Road in the area of the American Legion.
