Route 9 MVA

On Saturday, April 29th the Halfmoon Fire Department (HMFD) was dispatched to an auto accident (MVA) on NYS Route 9 in front of the Tire Warehouse. Upon arrival Firefighters found that three cars had collided blocking most of the roadway and resulting in several injuries. One of the drivers and a passenger required extrication form the vehicle by removing the vehicles driver’s door. Patients were transported by Clifton-Park Halfmoon Ambulance and Town of Colonie EMS to area hospitals for treatment.
