Roll Over Accident Route 9 in front of Halfmoon Diner

On Saturday April 28th at 1913 hours, Halfmoon Fire was dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Accident on Route 9 in front of the Halfmoon Diner. The initial report had 2 vehicles rolled over with entrapment. Asst. Chief Smith immediately called for Mutual Aid assistance from West Crescent Fire Department. When units arrived, they found one vehicle on its side with 2 occupants trapped inside the vehicle while the occupants in the other vehicle were out of the vehicle. Firefighters had to remove the windshield and use power tools to remove a section of the roof to free the occupants. Patients were treated by Clifton Park Halfmoon Ambulance and transported to local hospitals.
