Brookwood Road Accident

On Friday February 16th, HMFD was dispatched to a vehicle into a pole. Upon arrival firefighters found a vehicle on its side over looking a large embankment with a utility pole snapped off and wires on top of the vehicle with the occupant still inside the vehicle. National Grid was contacted and responded to the scene in a very short time to turn off power in the area so firefighters could secure the vehicle and extricate the occupant. The driver of the vehicle was extricated and suffered minor injuries.
