HMFD July MVA and Trailer Fire

On Tuesday, July 11th Halfmoon Fire Department (HMFD) Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a car, off the road, in the woods, with entrapment. Arriving Firefighters found a car on its side, off the road, in the woods. The driver of the vehicle was still in the vehicle, uninjured, with the engine running. Firefighters quickly removed the driver, shut off the car, provided medical care, and removed leaking fluids and debris from the roadway. HMFD was assisted at the scene by Clifton Park-Halfmoon Ambulance.

On Friday, July 28th Halfmoon Fire Department (HMFD) Firefighters were dispatched to a reported trailer fire in the Midway Village Trailer Park. Arriving Firefighters found a small fire in the rear of the trailer which was quickly extinguished. HMFD was assisted at the scene by the West Crescent FD, Clifton Park FD, Hillcrest FD, and Clifton Park-Halfmoon Ambulance (fire standby). No injuries were reported.
