The Halfmoon - Waterford Fire District held their annual inspection dinner on February 3rd at the Fairways of Halfmoon. All newly elected line officers and company officers were sworn in by Halfmoon Town Deputy Supervisor Mindy Wormuth and Waterford Councilwoman Laurie Marble.

After the swearing in ceremony, fire department awards were handed out to the following members and guest.

Top Seller of the 200 Club - Rich Durivage Past President - Dave Mills Company Member of the Year - Chuck LaFountain Past Chief - John Cooper Jr.
Firefighter of the Year - Gary Rogers

Community Recognition awards were presented to Harry Gully and Cathy Yelle for the support they have given to the company and community.
FASNY certificates were handed out to members with over 50 years of service.

Brigade Chief Gerry Morigerato of Momentive Performance (GE Silicones) presented awards to Past Chief John Cooper Jr. and Chief Chuck Kuhns for the Department.

100 Alarm Awards were handed out to the following members: John Cooper Jr., George Lloyd, Chuck Kuhns, Gary Rogers, Earl McMahon, Don Doin, Mark Smith, John Napples, Curt Bouchard, Kevin Douglas, Pat Kuhn, Sean Dickinson, Jim Dougall and Don Filarecki.
