HMFD Ice Rescue 2/11/06

On Saturday, February 11th, 2006 three Halfmoon Firefighters attended Ice Rescue training with the Vischer Ferry Fire Department. Firefighters Bryan Moore, Gene Morrissey, and Jason Polnak attended the two day class designed to teach Firefighters the technical aspects of cold water rescue. The Firefighters learn about the different types of ice, medical aspects of cold water exposure, and technical rigging and techniques for rescue.
