HMFD Hybrid Vehicle Training 2/18/05

On Saturday, February 18th, 2006 Halfmoon Firefighters attended a special training class on Hybrid Vehicles at Toyota of Clifton Park. The training session included an overview of Toyota hybrid vehicles, the Prius and the Highlander. Firefighters learned how the gas/electric hybrid operates, special rescue/extrication methods, and how to extinguish fires in Toyota hybrid vehicles.
