Halfmoon Days 2004

Halfmoon Firefighters once again participated in the towns annual Halfmoon Days held on September 18th, 2004. Fifteen Firefighters displayed fire apparatus, provided fire prevention materials, and answered questions on fire and safety issues while kids were treated to coloring books, balloons, and candy. Fire Truck rides were offered to anyone who agreed to receive training in the proper use of fire extinguishers and home fire safety tips. It was a great opportunity for the Firefighters to meet local residents, and for residents to meet the men and women who respond to their calls for help. We look forward to seeing everyone at Halfmoon Days 2005.
