September Car Fire

On Sunday, September 3rd the Halfmoon Fire Department (HMFD) was dispatched to a reported fully involved car fire with fire spreading to the adjacent house. Firefighters arrived on the scene to find a car in the driveway with a working fire in the engine compartment and under carriage area of the car. The car fire was quickly extinguished and the house checked for fire extension. Fire damage was confined to the car. Firefighters remained on the scene for about two hours for fire overhaul and investigation. On the scene were Car-32, Car-320, ER-322, ETA-323, M-325, and the Saratoga County Cause and Origin team.
