WORKING APARTMENT FIRE – 34 HAYNER HEIGHTS ROAD
4/21/2008, at 03:23 the Halfmoon Fire Department responded to a working structure fire at 34 Hayner Heights Rd, in the Town of Halfmoon.

Initial reports indicated that an occupant was trapped in the fully involved structure. With the Saratoga County Sheriff’s department on the scene, who quickly investigated the report of an occupant trapped, reported all residents were accounted for soon after our units arrived.

Upon the arrival of 2nd Assistant Chief Gary Rogers, found the four unit apartment structure with one unit fully involved in fire. 2nd Asst Chief Rogers requested a ladder truck from the West Crescent FD.  Also requested were units from HillCrest, Clifton Park and a fast team from the Boght Community Fire Departments.  Clifton Park – Halfmoon Ambulance Corps were on scene for re-hab for the firefighters involved in structural firefighting  Waterford Village FD was on stand-by in Halfmoon fire station.

The fire was brought under control at 07:06 and no injuries were reported.
The fire is still under investigation by the Saratoga County Sherriff’s Office and the Saratoga County Cause and Origin team.
