At approximately 2:00 PM the Halfmoon Fire Department was activated to provide one ETA to a working apartment fire in the Vischer Ferry Fire District.  The fire fully engulfed one of the top floor apartments and severely damaged the remaining units.  HMFD assisted with the interior fire attack after the fire was knocked down by exterior hand lines and West Crescent's ladder truck.  After the top floor become weakened from the fire and water load suppression continued from a ladder in the rear of the building to extinguish flare ups.
